Who we are

ALTER is the trading name for the residential architecture work of Jason Lamb, based in Leigh on Sea. He is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website.

What we collect

If you send an enquiry we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, project postcode and what you tell us about your home.

Why we use it

We use it only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to instruct us, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to a request you have made, and performance of a contract where one is entered into.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to host this website and store enquiries securely on our behalf. Where a project proceeds, information may be shared with consultants such as a structural engineer, or with a local authority, only as necessary for the project.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted. Project records are kept for as long as necessary to meet professional and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it. Contact us at hello@alter-studio.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
